Carey: 'Formula E is a street party, not a sports event'

Formula 1 CEO Chase Carey took a dig at Formula E boss Alejandro Agag following the latter's claim that the all-electric series will surpass Grand Prix racing in the future. Agag believes Formula E is setting the agenda in the world of motorsport, with F1 following many of its ideas in the areas of digital presentation and social media. But Agag also made the bold claim that his series will take over from F1 and be the last motor racing championship standing in 20 years' time. Carey pushed back on that prospect however.
