'Formula E is a street party, not a sports event' says F1 boss Chase Carey

Formula 1's Chase Carey has hit back at Alejandro Agag, the CEO of Formula E, after he claimed that the all-electric single seater championship would one day become more popular than motorsport's premier racing series. While Formula E has had unprecedented growth over the course of the past year, becoming more popular with fans and attracting the attention of a number of prominent manufacturers in the automotive industry including Mercedes and Porsche, Agag claimed that the championship would be the only motorsport series remaining in the next 20 years.
