Giovinazzi in contention for works Ferrari drive at Le Mans

Sauber reserve driver and Ferrari junior Antonio Giovinazzi has been short listed by the Italian manufacturer as one of its potential drivers for this year's Le Mans 24 hours event. Ferrari has entered a three-car 488 squad in the GTE Pro category under the banner of the AF Corse team, where three seats have yet to be attributed alongside confirmed drivers Toni Vilander, James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi.
