The rain arrives for qualifying day

Formula 1 is in for a wet qualifying day in Melbourne after the rain arrived with a vengeance on Saturday morning. Heavy rain began to fall at the Albert Park circuit at 10am local time causing chaos in the support races. The rain is expected to continue throughout final practice but forecasts are for a brief break during the qualifying hour. Yr.no's forecast is for no rain between 5pm and 6pm local time while others are predicting very light rain. For now, though, it is wet.
