‘Precautionary changes' after Bottas' crash

Valtteri Bottas is already onto his second energy store and control electronics following Saturday's qualifying crash. The Finnish driver binned it in Q3 as he got it wrong out of Turn 1. He ran a bit wide, touched a spot where it was still wet following earlier rain and hit the wall at Turn 2 hard. His mechanics worked furiously to prepare his car over night with the Mercedes driver set to start the race P15 due to a new gearbox. He also has a new energy store and control electronics but those don't yet come with penalties as they are his second of three for the season.
