Halo Wing Mirrors To Go The FIA has said that the new Ferrari Halo hung mirrors are to go after the Spanish Grand Prix. They have given the team a one race grace as there is to much work involved to revert back to the old style mirrors that Ferrari started the season with. Questions have already been asked about Ferrari’s Halo hung mirror. Vettel said the repositioned mirrors are 'purely for visibility purposes' Moving the wing mirrors free's up an area for improved airflow into the sidepod, this then negates the effect that the halo could have on aerodynamic gains.
