Berlin ePrix – Former F1 World Champion Nico Rosberg was the first man to drive the Gen2 Formula E car ahead of the race at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin. Rosberg climbed into a single seater for the first time since his championship winning race at Abu Dhabi at the end of 2016 when he took the wheel of the Gen2 Formula E car in Berlin. The new car is due to be used from the start of the next season, kicking off in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
