Verstappen to start Monaco GP in last

Max Verstappen will start the Monaco Grand Prix from last place after demolishing his Red Bull during Saturday's practice session in Monte Carlo. Verstappen's hopes of a first win of 2018 may well have gone up in smoke with his crash out of the swimming pool chicane. Verstappen was perhaps put off by the slow-moving Renault of Carlos Sainz Jr, but took too much kerb and broke a right-front steering rod on the barriers before skirting into the wall on the run down to La Rascasse.
