Canadian GP promoter hails Liberty's 'significant progress'

François Dumontier, the promoter of the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, says he is happy with Liberty Media's tenure so far as F1 new commercial right holder. Dumontier admitted his working relationship with the sport's new managers was quite a departure from the partnership he enjoyed with former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone, who "did everything himself". "When Liberty Media took control, things changed, that's for sure," Dumontier told Quebec's La Presse. "They have experience in the media, with event management, and they listen to promoters.
