Wolff: We understand why we didn't do better

Mercedes faltered in Canada last time out, the reigning world champions failed to find the sweet spot in Montreal and watched Sebastian Vettel take the win and go top of the points table, according to Mercedes chief Toto Wolff his team know what caused the dip in form relative to their rivals. Wolff said in his preview of the French Grand Prix, 'The weekend in Canada didn't meet our expectations. In the past, Montreal was a track where we were fighting for the win, but this year we lacked the performance on Saturday and Sunday.'
