Scott Dixon confirms talks with McLaren for race seat

IndyCar's Scott Dixon has confirmed that he has held talks with McLaren over a possible race seat for 2019 as the British team look at entering IndyCar next season. Dixon currently drives for the Chip Ganassi racing team. Speaking to AutoWeek, the Kiwi confirmed that talks had gone ahead but nothing was set in stone for next year. "We constantly talk to other people, but it’s not in a situation where we are shopping around or looking to move. "A lot of these scenarios, I have known these people for over 15 years.
