Alonso details 'tough as expected' schedule

Fernando Alonso is the busiest man in motorsport at the moment as he splits his time between his commitments with McLaren in Formula One with his pursuit of the motorsport triple crown, which means featuring in the Le Mans 24 Hours for Toyota also. Over the past seven weeks, starting at the Monaco Grand Prix and finishing at the British Grand Prix last weekend, Alonso has been pulling double-duty, but he insists the gruelling schedule was not less tough that he expected. "It was demanding. It was not easy, as we expected," Alonso confessed. "It was Wednesday to Sunday travelling, unpacking on Monday, packing on Tuesday. It was like this for seven consecutive weeks."...
