Formula E New York finale temporarily suspended

New York City E-Prix – The Formula E season finale at the Red Hook Circuit has been temporarily suspended due to adverse weather conditions. A thunder storm heading towards the venue has meant fans have been evacuated from the E-village and the grandstands and entry to the paddock is being denied. The storm is expected to pass before the race is held at 3pm local time. Planes at the nearby airports have reportedly been grounded also, at the decision of the Port Authority. Formula E is currently waiting on the local authorities to make a decision on the scheduling of the event. First practice, led by Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler driver Daniel Abt, and qualifying have already been completed....
