GALLERY: The F1 cars that lit up Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is always a key date on any petrol head's calendar and the 2018 event was no different. Some amazing machinery was on display over the weekend, but which F1 cars made an appearance? Here we take a look at a selection. Valtteri Bottas got his hands on the Mercedes W196, driven by Juan Manuel Fangio and Stirling Moss in 1954 and 1955. It won nine of the 12 races it entered and the drivers' title in each year. More modern title-winning machinery was on display thanks to Red Bull, who gave the RB8 a spin with Patrick Freisacher at the wheel. Sebastian Vettel drove this car to glory in 2012.
