Formula E Techeetah racers Jean-Eric Vergne and André Lotterer were fined for wearing non-compliant underwear during qualifying for this weekend's New York ePrix. The intimate apparel penalty amounted to 5,000 and two points on their license for both drivers, a punishment in accordance with Formula E's sporting regulations and that also marked the second time this season that such an infringement was noted by the series' stewards.
