Ricciardo hit by engine failure despite fresh PU

Daniel Ricciardo has confirmed that his German Grand Prix ended with engine failure, despite taking fresh power unit parts for the Hockenheim race. Ricciardo had to start the race from the back of the grid after Red bull changed numerous components, but he could now face more penalties at the Hungarian grand Prix this week, where the team had hoped to take a win. Ricciardo had fought back through the field to sixth place, until he reported a loss of power and was ordered to pull over by Red Bull. The Australian suffered his third mechanical DNF of 2018 in the process - and fourth overall - leaving him 82 points adrift of standings leader Lewis Hamilton. Roll with the punches. Even if...
