Dan Ticktum Ruled Out For Trident Formula 2 Seat By Red Bull

Red Bull have ruled out Dan Ticktum to step in the Trident FIA Formula 2 seat, left open following Santino Ferrucci’s ban. Trident have confirmed the contract termination of the American driver after receiving a two round ban for a deliberate racing incident on then team-mate Arjun Maini, as well as multiple regulation breaches. Trident are preparing to take the matter to court against Ferrucci and his father. With the next round of F2 in Hungary this weekend, the Italian team need to find a driver to partner Maini for the rest of the season.
