Jean-Eric Vergne has reached new heights in his career in the last 12 months, summed up brilliantly by Formula E championship win, his first title since his 2010 British Formula 3 success. We all remember the Vergne that arrived in Formula E, not long after he was dropped by Red Bull and left at a crossroads in his life. He was angry, lost, difficult to work with.
