Alonso to Sainz: "You're going to one of the best teams in history!"

Two days after Fernando Alonso announced his retirement from Formula One, McLaren announced the signing of Carlos Sainz for next season, prompting Alonso to wish his fellow Spaniard and good friend good luck.  The two-time champion took to Twitter to congratulate Sainz on his move to his current team, as he also informed his fellow countryman that he'll be doing his best to leave him a competitive car for 2019, when Sainz joins the team.
