Briatore says Alonso still better than Hamilton

Former Renault team principal Flavio Briatore believes Fernando Alonso is retiring too early and that the Spaniard is still better than Lewis Hamilton. The Italian has a history of controversial opinions and this has definitely got to be up there. Briatore claims that Alonso was a 'key part' in the Italian's career at Renault. Alonso announced his retirement on Tuesday from the sport, with his future in motorsport still uncertain at the moment.
