IndyCar stars call for Alonso

Fernando Alonso is still yet to decide on his future after he retires from F1 at the end of this season, with IndyCar being a likely destination for the two-time champion. Despite winning only two titles, in 2005 and 2006, Alonso is considered as one of the greatest drivers of his era and many feel he deserved to drive in better cars than he was given. It is no secret that Alonso wants to become the second man to complete motorsport’s unofficial ‘Triple Crown’, after Graham Hill, almost 50 years ago.
