Toyota squad excluded from 6 Hours of Silverstone results!
Both Toyota LMP1 entries have been excluded from the results of the 6 Hours of Silverstone following a technical infringement, handing outright victory to the Rebellion Racing squad. Fernando Alonso, Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima headed home the #7 Toyota sister machine of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria Lopez, handing their third consecutive win to the #8 car's crew. Toyota and Alonso make it three in a row at Silverstone! However, post-race scrutineering revealed a skid block deflection problem on both cars that warranted their exclusion from the results!
