Buemi plays down 2019 Toro Rosso return rumours
Sebastien Buemi has played down recent rumours that suggest the Swiss driver could return to the Toro Rosso team he last raced for back in 2011. Buemi has enjoyed a large amount of success in Formula E and WEC, but a return to F1 doesn't appear to be a part of his future according to the man himself. Speaking to Sky Sports F1 ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, Buemi reasserted the position that he was just the reserve driver for both Red Bull and Toro Rosso and that a deal was not in place for him to return to the Toro Rosso team for next season. “I’m the reserve driver for Red Bull and Toro Rosso,” Buemi said. “That is why I am here this weekend (in Singapore)....
