Vettel bemoans 'messy' qualifying after claiming third

Singapore Grand Prix – Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel was disappointed with his qualifying hour after being unable to mount a challenge for pole position. Vettel was beaten to pole position by championship rival Lewis Hamilton on the streets of Singapore, falling six tenths of a second off the pace. The four-time champion was set back by a collision with the wall during the second free practice session, which lost him vital track time. However, Vettel was able to respond by topping FP3 earlier on Saturday.
