RUMOUR: Honda to have engine-upgrade in Russia, overtaking Renault in power

It was originally understood that Honda would introduce a new spec of their engine at the Grand Prix of the United States, but according to Ziggo Sport's Jack Plooij, the Japanese are introducing it next race weekend in Russia. This new spec should give them a nice 35 horsepower boost, taking them past Renault in terms of raw power. That's a good sign if you're a Red Bull fan, as the team will be joining forces with Honda next season. Plooij reported that he'd talked to people at both Honda and Toro Rosso, who told him that the engine will make a big leap. This will happen in Russia, not in the United States.
