Tost expects Kvyat to be more competitive on F1 return

What should we anticipate from Daniil Kvyat next season during his second shot at F1 and third stint at Toro Rosso? Will we see the promising young driver we saw during 2014 and 2015, or the erratic, mistake-ridden driver that was dropped from Red Bull and then Toro Rosso during 2016 and 2017? Toro Rosso boss Franz Tost envisages more of the previous than the latter, saying that the Russian is more “measured” than before. Kvyat was dropped from the Red Bull team after his first lap double crash with Sebastian Vettel and replaced by Max Verstappen. After this incident, his confidence took a huge hit, and he struggled in the rest of 2016 and 2017, before he was dropped altogether...
