Haas racing in ‘F1.5' says team owner
Gene Haas is 'aghast' by the performance advantage of Formula 1's top three teams, which is so huge he feels the rest are competing in 'F1.5.' Haas are presently locked in a battle with Renault for ‘best of the rest' in this year's championship. They trail Renault by eight points with the French manufacturer a whopping 227 points behind third-placed Red Bull. Such is the advantage of the top three teams that only once, Force India in Azerbaijan, has another team featured on the podium this season.
