Nico Hülkenberg: “I’m happy with the way we got the most out of the car”

Nico Hülkenberg was been happy with the way the Mexican Grand Prix weekend has unfolded so far, with the German securing an excellent seventh on the grid during Saturday’s Qualifying session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. The whole Renault Sport Formula One Team has been competitive all weekend long in Mexico, and for Hülkenberg it was pleasing to carry that momentum into Qualifying to set a time of 1:15.827, enough to confirm him as the best of the rest behind the leading three teams once more. After a sixth-place finish seven days ago at the Circuit of the Americas, Hülkenberg is looking for another strong performance during Sunday’s race as Renault bid to confirm themselves...
