Grosjean questions FIA punishments as he nears race ban

Romain Grosjean says he accepts that he has deserved some of the penalty points he has accumulated in recent months but questions whether he has been treated unfairly in some instances. The Frenchman is just three penalty points away from earning a race ban. The Haas driver admitted that he probably deserved the penalty points on his license he was given for his Spanish Grand Prix smokescreen but added that a few other incidents were not of the same nature. “Barcelona, two points and three (grid) places, fair enough.
