Verstappen talks down Abu Dhabi chances: "Straights are a disadvantage"

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is looking forward to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix next week, even though he conceded that the straights on the circuit will be disadvantageous for his car. Verstappen has been very strong in recent races to say the least. After an incredible drive in the United States that saw him finish second after starting in P18, he won the Mexico Grand Prix the week after, and almost made it two wins in a row for the first time in his career in Brazil last week. He was leading the race, but an incident with backmarker Esteban Ocon saw him spin around and lose the lead to Lewis Hamilton, who went on to win the race.
