Sophia Floersch released from hospital

Formula 3 racer Sophia Floersch has been released from hospital in Macau, eight days after her monster crash during the F3 World Cup race. Van Amersfoort racer Sophia Floersch was involved in a huge crash during the F3 World Cup in Macau last Sunday, going off backwards at high speed and colliding with a photographer's stand. The scary crash led to five people, including Floersch, being hospitalised for injuries, with the 17 year old German coming off worst with a spinal fracture. After a day of surgeries last Monday, she spent the past week recovering in Macau, but has now been released to fly home to her family in Germany in time for Christmas.
