Short-list of 55 drivers made for inaugural W-series

The new racing series featuring all-female drivers has unveiled a list of 55 potential drivers. The W-series has space for 18 seats when the action gets underway in May 2019. The championship will see six rounds, with races lasting 30-minutes on tracks around Europe. They'll be driving Tatuus F3-spec cars and desperate for a share of the $1.5m prize fund. Funds for travel and subsistence costs will get covered by the W-series. This is hoped to give the drivers a real good chance of attaining a move further up the motorsport ladder.
