"Ecclestone would have got a better seat for Kubica"

Former Formula One owner Bernie Ecclestone would have secured a "better" race seat for the returning Robert Kubica, according to a former official spokesman of the 33-year-old. Kubica is returning to Formula One for the 2019 season, with the Polish driver joining Williams to partner George Russell. The driver is returning to the grid after an eight-year spell out of F1 because of serious injuries he sustained in a rally crash. Marcin Czachorski, a former official spokesman of the Polish driver has said.
