Russell aiming to get back to top of the grid with Williams

George Russell has insisted he is aiming to get his new Williams team "back to where they belong" - meaning the top of the grid. Russell was announced as the man to replace a departing Lance Stroll for Williams, with the Canadian driver off to join his father at Force India. He spent last season winning the F2 world title, being contracted down to Mercedes. "My main goal of course, is to get Williams to move up the grid, back to where they belong, because Robert Kubica and I are not interested in competing with each other for the nineteenth and twentieth position," Russel insisted to Sky Sports News.
