Albon to race with number 23 in semi-tribute to Valentino Rossi

Toro Rosso new boy Alexander Albon has selected the number 23 as his number to use in Formula One in a half-tribute to MotoGP legend, Valentino Rossi. In a post on social media, Albon admitted whilst he can't replace Rossi entirely, he would 'have half of it'. In two posts on Twitter, Albon admitted that he has been a fan of Rossi for a long time and included two pictures of himself using the number 46 during his karting days. Albon will race for Toro Rosso in 2019 alongside the returning Daniil Kvyat.
