Grosjean said he did "pretty well" in 2018 despite gap to Magnussen

Whatever you may think of Romain Grosjean’s crashing or complaining over the radio, you cannot deny that he is a terrific driver. However, 2018 was a blip in his career. The Frenchman failed to score in the first eight races of the season, whilst his team mate Kevin Magnussen racked up 27 points, a huge lead in a midfield battle. Since the French Grand Prix, Grosjean’s final no score of his drought, Grosjean scored eight more points than his Danish team mate, a run of results that saw him earn a contract for next season, his fourth season with Haas.
