George Russell wins Formula 2 title and is ready for F1

George Russell is relieved to have won the FIA Formula 2 title before heading off to Formula 1.  George Russell has won the FIA Formula 2 title after a tough and competitive season.  The British ART driver won the final race, making it his seventh win of the season to win the title.  Russell ended the season with 287 points and is heading to the Formula One side, Williams next season. He beat Carlin Motorsport's British driver Lando Norris (219 points), who has also confirmed a Formula 1 drive as a McLaren racer for 2019. "We've worked hard and really deserve this win.
