Red Bull keep Buemi as F1 test driver

Former Toro Rosso driver Sebastien Buemi will stay on as Red Bull's F1 test and reserve driver in 2019. The 30-year-old currently races for Toyota in the World Endurance Championship as well as the Nissan e.dams team. Since leaving F1, Buemi has won both the World Endurance Championship in 2014 and the Formula E title in 2016/17 season. Alongside both seasons he is currently racing in, the Swiss driver will complete test duties for the Red Bull Formula One team. He also went on to win the Le Mans 24 Hours with Kazuki Nakajima and Fernando Alonso.
