Jerome Stoll stays on as Renault Sport President after Thierry Koskas leaves

Renault Sport has announced that Jerome Stoll will continue as President after planned replacement Thierry Koskas departed the manufacturer. It was announced last November that Stoll, 64, would step down, with Vice President of Sales and Marketing Koskas taking over on January 1. But on Friday Renault revealed that Koskas has left Groupe Renault and instead Stoll will remain in his role as President. No reason was given for Koskas’ departure. Koskas was supposed to report to CEO and Chairman Carlos Ghosn but Renault is understood to be on the brink of axing the embattled Ghosn.
