Promoters critical of F1's direction under Liberty

The Formula One Promoters Association have outlined concerns over pay TV deals, as well as planned new race destinations. FOPA, the Formula One Promoters Association, met in London on Monday to discuss F1 and to outline any concerns they may have. There were several, with a statement being released after the meeting highlighting some key points that are of concern to, specifically, 16 representatives of existing Grands Prix. The statement says that pay TV deals are ‘not in the long term interest' of the sport as fans ‘lose access to content and broadcasting'.
