Baku signs deal; Azerbaijan GP remains until 2023

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku will remain on the F1 calendar until at least 2023, after the circuit announced a new deal signed off on Monday. The Baku City Circuit in Azerbaijan will be raced at every year until at least 2023 after officials signed an extension to their existing contract which expired in 2020. Chase Carey, CEO & Executive Chairman of F1, went to Baku to meet with Azerbaijan GP promoters and signed the paperwork with Azad Rahimov who is the Minister of Youth & Sports for the country.
