Will Ricciardo's move to Renault prove that Hulkenberg is a quick driver?

Daniel Ricciardo's move to Renault could backfire on him. What if he is not the quickest driver at the team?  Ricciardo is an exceptionally quick driver who has proved this by winning seven Formula 1 races. Many would assume that he would naturally be viewed as the number 1 driver at Renault because of his proved speed, but what if his team-mate is quicker than him?  Nico Hulkenberg may not have the best Formula 1 record but he is a very quick driver.
