Gasly recovered from his Tuesday afternoon crash setback to put in a mammoth 146 laps of the Spanish circuit on Thursday, with a fastest time of 1:18.780. While only P11 on the timesheets, many of those in front of him had run softer compound C4 & C5 tyres and the French driver says the team are still mostly focusing on gathering data: “It was a really productive day.” “We managed 146 laps, so a lot of long runs but also a lot of tests done for the Team.
