Fernando Alonso says he could make Formula 1 return in "three years"

After winning in Sebring, Fernando Alonso has made it clear he will not be focusing on Formula 1 this year, but he will not rule out anything by 2020. The Spaniard won the 1000 miles of Sebring last week with team-mates Sebastien Buemi and Kazuki Nakajima and announced shortly after the race that the single-seaters are doing little to him at the moment. "I haven't really followed Formula 1 in recent days. I don't know and to be honest, it doesn't really matter to me," Alonso told the Spanish branch of Motorsport.com.
