Fernando Alonso lacked the ability to be team player claims Luca Di Montezemelo

Former Ferrari President Luca Di Montezemelo has described former driver Fernando Alonso as lacking in the area of being a team player when compared to previous drivers at the Italian team. Alonso joined the Scuderia in 2010 and immediately hit the ground running with a victory in the opening race in Bahrain. He went on to win ten further races during his five-year stint with the team before leaving for McLaren-Honda at the end of the 2014 season under acrimonious circumstances.
