McLaren now has its Key element

After a long drawn-out process between McLaren and Toro Rosso, the Woking-based outfit finally welcomed to the team its new technical director James Key. The British engineer officially started work at McLaren last Monday and flanked Zak Brown during F1's crucial Strategy Group meeting in London this week, but Bahrain marked Key's first appearance on his new team's pitwall. Brown stressed however that McLaren's new technical director is still bedding in with the team. While Key will obviously take part in the engineering of this year's MCL34, the full extent of his contribution likely won't be seen until 2020.
