Bottas says bad start down to ‘strange' clutch behaviour

Spanish Grand Prix – Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas says that his clutch behaving in a strange manner contributed to his poor start at the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya. Mercedes' Valtteri Bottas may have taken a dominant pole position on Saturday at the Spanish venue, but lost the race after being outdragged into Turn 1 by his teammate Lewis Hamilton. Unable to get back on terms over the race, he finished just three seconds behind Hamilton at the chequered flag. This was after the gap of around eight seconds was closed up as the result of a late Safety Car. After having to fend off the Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel through the opening corner, Bottas said he found the start of the race...
