Pierre Gasly eyes Red Bull defeat of Ferrari in Monaco

Pierre Gasly believes Red Bull’s strength through slow-speed corners means it has a realistic chance of beating Ferrari at this weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix. Ferrari has shown significant prowess in terms of straight-line speed this season but its pace through slow- and medium-speed corners was identified as a relative weakness at the most recent event in Spain. Max Verstappen qualified just a tenth of a second down on Sebastian Vettel and went on to claim third place on the opening lap to deliver his and Red Bull’s second podium of the campaign.
