Leclerc retires from miserable Monaco GP

Charles Leclerc retired from the Monaco Grand Prix after 18 wretched laps as his attempts to recover from Ferrari's qualifying strategy disaster fell flat after crashing into the barriers. It continues his run of DNFs in his home race, which stretches back into his Formula 2 days. Leclerc started 15th in his home race after Ferrari opted not to run him at the end of Q1 to disastrous effect.
