F1 engines are 'TOO incredible' these days

Racing Point technical director Andrew Green reckons Formula 1 could benefit from actually regressing in terms of engine technology, as he believes the current V6 hybrid era engines are “too incredible” which is making the cars too easy to drive. Since 2014 when the hybrid era has been introduced, engines have become much more efficient, with Mercedes actually created the most statistically efficient power unit in the history of the sport.
